A couple weeks after I started treatment I had to step back when I looked at myself in the mirror. I look so much younger, there’s a youth in my eyes and skin I haven’t seen for several years. Wrinkles were disappearing and elasticity was returning. I lost some much needed weight. It was then that I realized just how much this infection wrecked my body.
